Playing with Shadows Tribute to Ground Hog Day

Happy Ground Hog Day!

Will he see his shadow?

Not sure, but noticed these shadows the other day and snapped a few photos.
 

 I'm still playing around with my new camera, becoming accustomed to it's size and settings.

 

I like the interesting shapes and the illusions created by the shadows!






Couldn't get a good shot of the whole top of this china cabinet. The shadows create the illusion that there are more objects and that the dried flower arrangements are so much fuller.

The house is filled with all of the aromas of holiday cooking and baking, well, at least in my memories and imagination! Don't you just love the way baking cookies, cakes and pies fills the whole house with delectable scents, sometimes for days?
