Not sure, but noticed these shadows the other day and snapped a few photos.
 

 I'm still playing around with my new camera, becoming accustomed to it's size and settings.

 

I like the interesting shapes and the illusions created by the shadows!






Couldn't get a good shot of the whole top of this china cabinet. The shadows create the illusion that there are more objects and that the dried flower arrangements are so much fuller.

Tuesday Thoughts on Inspiration

What inspires you?
After some consideration, I realize that I am very inspired by home decor when it comes to designing journal covers. I am especially partial to toss pillows, oriental carpets, plates and furniture. Layers, borders, tassels, textures and bright colors draw my attention and find there way onto my own journals and the ones I make to give away and sell.

Peacock Decorations for Holidays and Beyond

After I started decorating my house for Christmas in lovely peacock shades of blue, green, turquoise and plum, I decided to share photos here. Then I was curious to see what others had that might fit the theme. I have found some beautiful, fun and whimsical items to share with you.
